Not only a researcher, Sidney is a graphic designer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She enjoys combining research and design and thinking through the visual presentation of data. Through her experience as a researcher, she understands the problems that face researchers in the documents they create and is able to bring a fresh perspective through her background in the creative field. Sidney currently works at Insights Lab, a consumer insights branch of the Denver Post and has been designing, facilitating and reporting on both qual and quant projects since 2013. After college, she traveled and worked– the most notable being a stint in Antarctica washing dishes for scientists. While there she created 60 drawings displayed in station as a commentary on station life. From those drawings, she was commissioned to paint a 6'x8' mural for the Norwegian Prime Minister who came to the station to celebrate the centennial of the exploration of the South Pole.
